Sue is a very versatile artist and has produced a very wide variety of genres, from animals to flowers, still life to portraits. When I wanted something different for my living room, Sue’s painting of Lymington Church fitted perfectly and her lovely picture of pink flowers brightened up a dark corner.
I love all her work, especially the detail that makes her subjects come alive. Her pictures of animals are very expressive and always make me smile.
I was looking for a picture to brighten up my living room and this picture of a clematis does this perfectly. In fact it reminds me of Sue – bright, cheerful and beautifully presented.
I love Sue’s painting of my three dogs. She has captured their individual characteristics exactly. I asked her if she would like to paint them after seeing her painting of two donkeys looking over the gate; they were really engaging, they had character. The finished canvas exceeded my expectations, my dogs are very special to me, I was so pleased I had chosen her to paint them.
For ages I had been looking in vain for a bright colourful painting with a jazz theme for my flat at Gunwharf Quays. It was to be the only picture in a huge room, so it needed to be a large – and a bit special. Sue came up with some great ideas for a commission piece that developed into the painting “The Interval”. It’s exactly what I wanted and I’m delighted with the result. The painting is a talking point and receives numerous compliments from visitors. Thank you Sue.
We were delighted with our pastel of Meeko. Sue took a lot of time studying photos that I had taken from all angles to ensure that he was captured accurately.
Having failed to find the “right” piece of artwork for a newly decorated and furnished room, I approached Sue, who painted this lovely picture of sunflowers for me. She went to some trouble to check out the room’s
tones and colour scheme, and to establish what sort of “mood” I wanted. She also kept me up-dated with progress. I am really pleased with the result – I could spend hours examining the detail in the individual flowers, especially the seeds in the centres!
What an amazing artist! Sue has brought our dogs to life in this painting – which not only is a spitting image of them but also shows the personality.
This was all done via photographs online rather than meeting them in person, she truly has an amazing gift. Thanks again Sue!
